just lost another one to
going afk outside of the door in LA to look at my paragons shiney new shield. went away for 2 hours come back and wonder why is my character at a rez shrine and with 60 dp.
then ah shit i lost my survivor char.
it was kinda funny cause i thought that the outside of that door is safe to hide in that no patrols come that way. I was wrong apperently.

Losing survivor didn't seem funny to me.

I was going for survivor on my Ritualist and a little over halfway to r2. X button didn't work for me either when I was about to accept a quest near War Camp, a patrol got me. I was sad to say the least. Didn't try for survivor for months. Later I created a NF ranger, 7-8 months old and she finally got Legendary a week or so ago.

i always like how people are so hard core about survivor title, i just find you tend to lose it in the oddest of ways, and some are extreamly silly. Like using BoTM too many times

I lost survivor on my assassin in....fronis irontoe's dungeon.

I was farming it at 4am. I got knocked out, and instead of pressing 8, I just sat there staring at the screen. By the time I noticed I totally forgot to press 8, it was too late.

I was using a character from my second account to run myself to the desert outposts. A patrol of spidery things passed by the exit of the town I left and killed my survivor char.

I once fell asleep while boxing and the res countdown just went...down. I woke up when it had like 2 seconds left. And yes, I was boxing for R2 survivor, I'm not good enough in this game.

I was leeching my char behind another account of mine in the snowman dungeon.
Answered the door after killing a bunch of snowmen in the dungeon.. forgetting that those jet things throwing ice spikes still going.. came back to dead survivor as it was too far behind h/h.

I learned the hard way that i should not play my survivor while drunk.. I got home last night after goign out with friends and decided to play Pogahn Passage (with my friends on his survivor) and at the end.. i decided to make a dash for the boat..

Well normally you could do that.. but not when the boss is still alive.. and i died..

So i stripped her and deleted her.. and now i will remake her..

I lost mine doing up another Monk and was in the Noloni Academy mission in the bonus part when Orion and Alesia both went down and Stefan went behind me some how.I had all those undead ghost coming at me with final thrust.I though i could escape it as I pressed my G button and went to my Guild Hall when I got there I just realized I lost it.It happened at lvl 15 with 83,000 XP.
This is my 4th Monk btw and I was really hoping for Survivor but I don't have the patients to redo it over again so now she is a farmer.

I would of done the Suvivior title this way not on XP but lvls.I would do tier 1 at lvl 10,tier 2 at lvl 15 and Legendary at lvl 20.I would of atleast had tier 2 and could live with that.

This wasn't funny at the time but now that I look back on it I laugh occasionaly. so I started my first elementalist, I was doing fine and it was the double experience for completing missions/bonuses weekend so instead of farming and capping elites I moved onto doing missions so I gained more than a fair bit and at the end of the day I'm at the last mission I needed for the experience left needed for LS I forgot it's name but I was just about to finish the bonus and so I ran for the bonus and as I got to it my H/H were a little behind and some ghost things popped out and owned me, I didn't stand a chance all of them attacked me at once and even though my heroes attempted to heal I was pretty much already dead. At the time It wasn't funny it annoyed me so much that much I quit Guild Wars for a few months but I soon got over it. :P

Survivor attempts are ruined in 2 main ways: Impatience and inattention. Be in too much of a hurry to get there and you will fail.

The other way is pure, dumb, bad luck. There's nothing you can do about that one

Yes, I did realise in the end. That would make the title far too easy, though. Admittedly, the hard part is from L1 to L10. Once you're there, it's just repetition all the way. Your only enemy is boredom.

Just wait of the queue of people saying the title is far too easy as it is
